Acupuncturist and yoga teacher dedicated to restoring balance, clarity, and ease.

Blending years of practice with a warm, compassionate approach, I brings together Five Element Acupuncture and Yoga to support healing on both physical and emotional levels. With a calm presence and a deep respect for the body’s wisdom, I create a space where you can unwind, reconnect, and feel more at home in yourself.

ABOUT ME

I am the founder of Breathe in Joy and a mother of two beautiful girls, balancing family life with my passion for yoga and wellbeing. My journey began with a deep interest in yoga, then expanded into facial acupuncture, and eventually led to completing qualifications in 5 Elements Acupuncture.

Why Acupuncture? 

My passion for Five Element Acupuncture comes from witnessing, time and time again, how deeply it can restore balance - not just in the body, but in the whole person.

What inspires me most is how gently yet profoundly this approach works: helping ease pain, calm the mind, lift the spirit, and reconnect you with your natural vitality. It’s a therapy that doesn’t just treat symptoms, but listens to the story underneath, supporting healing at the root.

For me, Five Element Acupuncture is more than a modality - it’s a compassionate, intuitive way of helping people return to themselves.

Why Yoga? 

Life is a beautiful journey, and as long as we walk with a smile and ease in our body and mind, we can experience tremendous joy on this path.  Yoga has always supported Aleks in this journey and given her the strength she was unaware of, and it is a pleasure to share her love to Yoga with you. 

Favourite Yoga Pose?

Downward Facing Dog - Adho Mukha Svanasana. It brings fabulous balance between the upper and lower part of the body. Balances heart and mind. Brings calmness and strength.

What to expect from Aleks? 

She has a beautiful Polish accent as she is originally from Poland.

Music is a huge passion for Aleks, so please expect great music during your class.

She will invite you to the Yoga journey with a smile as she believes in You. She will help you build a strong body capable of always returning to its healthy, balanced state.

During her yoga classes, Aleks will present different techniques for bringing the mind into stillness so the heart can speak.

She trusts you from the first step you take on the yoga mat, so do not hesitate any longer. Yoga is for everyone, including you :) 

Your deep, enriching breath is the biggest Joy for her.
